I'm back

Hey there,

I has been awhile I haven't blogged. Life and its ups and downs have me on my feet constantly. I must say that I am in a better place than when I started this blog, I give God thanks for that. I am still taking care of my hair but as I mentioned I'm too busy to document the process. I hope my previous posts are beneficial to you. Oh, before I go I forgot to mention I was recently featured on a blog. I would share the link below. All the best through out your hair journey. Until next time much love.

Here is the link to the blog I was featured on.

CON Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment

Happy Friday guys!!! I was suppose to make this post since Wednesday night but life happened. LOL! This post is to share my first experience of using Creme of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment. Firstly, the consistency is good, it is not too thick nor thin. Thick conditioners tend to be hard to rinse out of my hair therefore I try to stay clear of them. The smell is okay, it reminded me of Organics Tea-Tree Cholesterol. However, the scent lingers until the second day. I did just as the label instructed, except for shampooing with their shampoo. I don't care for sulfate free shampoos. So I sat under my warm bonnet dryer for 15 minutes after that I rinsed then proceeded to styling. Drum roll please!!!!I like it it so far. It left my hair very manageable, soft but strengthened all at once. I am pleased and thinking it might just become a staple conditioner. I am eager to see how well it would work on my hair beyond 4 -7 weeks post. Once again stay tuned.

Thanks for reading....

Haul (4)

Hey guys,I know it has been a minute. Yesterday I went shopping and I got some hair goodies. I blogged months ago about the convenience of Creta Girl wig by Freetress, well I finally got my hands on it. Protein treatments have always been my friend but I decided to try a new product (Creme of Nature Intense Conditioning Treatment). It promises to strengthen and soften at the same time. I just hope it works well on my hair. I would hate the contrary.Lastly, I got myself a big ole satin bonnet. I normally flexi rod my hair at nights so I think the bonnet would be better than my scarf. Have a productive week and remember your hair is your everything. *smooches* (Look out for my reviews)

Protective Styling

Happy new year!!!It has been awhile...a lot has been happening hence my absence. But for my readers I am here with a mini update. I am currently 6 or 7 weeks post. I have been protective styling since I was 4 weeks post. My new job and chores were my biggest motivators for this venture. Today I started wearing my second quick weave wigs made by moi of course. I must say I love it. It is super easy and convenient. You should try it.

Sew in Woes

Last week I attempted my first long term protective style. It was a lesson learnt.I ombred 2 bundles of malaysian curly hair and did an invisible part sew in. It looked nice except I do not have many photos because it lasted 1 day and some hours. I love my hair and I refuse to be uncomfortable just for a style. I used a weaving  net and all the works. But my scalp started to burn and my edges looked like they were under extreme pressure. So I decided to undo it,I was bummed because of the time and money I placed into it but healthy hair trumps it all.The conclusion to all this fiasco is that I am extremely tender headed considering the factors. Braids and weaves are a definitely no,no for me. I think I would stick to what I know works for me.

Killing two birds with one stone *update*

Previously, I spoke about adding a "cheapie" conditioner to my protein treatments to cut down on my wash day steps. After a deep reflection I decided not to because I think I may weaken or alter the protein conditioner in some form. But I am happy to tell you that a "cheapie" conditioner after my protein treatments are great. My quest for finding the ultimate moisturizing "deep" conditioner is over. Sometimes the littlest and cheapest things makes a big difference.
